Lucy Hale’s Los Angeles Home Is Officially on the Market, and You Seriously Need to See It

If you’re looking for a new home and have $2.5 million to spare, you’re in luck. Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale is selling her Los Angeles mansion, and I seriously want to move in. The Spanish-style home, which was built in 2004, features four bedrooms and four baths—perfect for a family or if you just like having guests. It’s located in Studio City in Los Angeles, which, if you don’t live in LA and already know this, is a really trendy part of town. So, of course Lucy Hale’s house is there. The actress is moving on, though, and her beautiful home is selling for about $2.5 million (see the listing on Homes.com)—a small price to pay for a ~celebrity home~.

The 3,880 square foot home features a built-in dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and range hood in the kitchen—basically any chef’s (or aspiring chef’s) dream. I mean, how insanely beautiful is this kitchen? This could be the only room in the entire house, and I’d be happy.

There are also plenty of rooms in which to entertain—both a living room and a family room. I picture myself hanging out on the couch staring at those pretty hardwood floors, TBH.

Honestly, this bathroom is so ready for selfies. White tile and marble are so elegant, and whatever outfit you’re wearing would totally pop against those walls.

Plus, all this natural light is really adding to how much I love this home. Imagine having a casual breakfast while looking out over the Hollywood hills and basking in the morning sun. Ugh, a dream.

Seriously, this house has views for days. It would feel like secluding yourself in a super chic cabin away from it all. (When, in actuality, you’d be steps away from a bunch of cool LA spots.) I’m also just obsessed with those high AF ceilings. Heart eyes all day.

Plus, there’s a pool and lemon trees. So, I rest my case. Lucy Hale has the best taste of all time, and I want this home to be mine forever.

Lucy Hale Mixed Two Hot Trends In the Most Unexpected Way at the CW Upfronts, and I Love It

Every season, networks present new shows—or new seasons of currently airing shows—to the press, advertisers and the like. These presentations are what people in ~the biz~ call upfronts. And on Thursday night, at the CW Upfronts, Lucy Hale showed up in one of the most unexpectedly trendy ensembles I’ve ever seen. I mean, I knew the actress had sartorial chops, but this effortlessly cool look has me re-thinking everything I know about pairing trends. Hale’s outfit is serious summer wardrobe inspiration, and I am here for it.

Two of the biggest trends right now are animal print and Victorian-esque, puffy sleeve blouses. You’re probably seeing both everywhere. (I know I am.) If you’re not, though, just wait for summer, because these trends are slated to continue into the year. But would I ever think to pair the two trends together? Probably not, but Lucy Hale did the damn thing, and it looks amazing. The actress posed for the camera in an effortlessly breezy gauzy white top (a lot of Victorian vibes going on) and a Giambattista Valli animal print mini skirt from the designer’s spring/summer 2019 Paris Fashion Week runway. The structured, almost utility (another summer 2019 trend!!) mini skirt pairs so well with the flow-y sleeves and delicate lace of Lucy Hale’s blouse. The two trends are an unexpected match made in heaven.

Although the Pretty Little Liars actress’ most recent show Life Sentence was canceled after one season, she attended the CW Upfronts to debut a new show coming to the network: a Riverdale spin-off called Katy Keene. The series is slated to premiere mid-season 2020, and I, for one, cannot wait to see what kind of drama the CW cooks up for the actress. If Katy Keene is anywhere near as successful as Riverdale, Hale might just secure a longterm spot at the CW once again.

Lucy Hale Wore This $4 Red Lipstick to the Teen Choice Awards

ICYMI, last night was the Teen Choice Awards, where some of the hottest young stars came out to party in Los Angeles, CA. It was hosted by Lucy Hale, who is decidedly not a teen but is best known for her roles on young adult shows. She’s also known for her gorgeous beauty looks and her TCA makeup was no different. Not only was it girly and glam for the award show, but it’s also surprisingly affordable to get the exact look yourself. Although you might not be able to get celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan to come to your house to apply it.

“After seeing Lucy’s gorgeous red dress for the carpet, I was inspired to do a classic look with a modern twist,” Deenihan said in a statement. “Lucy’s claim to fame are her incredible fluffy brows, so I wanted to create a prominent brow look while adding a fun blush and red lip to compliment her features.”

Deenihan used all E.L.F. products to give Hale a look that only costs $60 total. But first, she prepped Hale’s face with Sephora Collection skincare. Then, she added Poreless Putty Primer ($8 at Target), concentrating the application to the sides of the nose and the forehead to keep her shine-free. Next, she applied Flawless Finish Foundation ($6 at Target) all over her face and 16hr Camo Concealer ($5 at Target) just under her eyes. To give her face color and dimension, she added the blush side of Aqua Beauty Blush & Bronzer ($6 at Target) to the high points of her cheekbones, and the bronzer side to lightly contour her face.

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

Deenihan gave Hale’s brows a little extra oomph by brushing them up with Wow Brow Gel ($4 at Ulta) and filling in any sparse areas with Ultra Precise Brow Pencil ($5 at Target). For her eyes, she used The New Classics Eyeshadow Palette ($14 at E.L.F.). She applied the shade Earth to define the eye crease and Charmer and Beloved on the lids. She finished the eyes with three coats of Volume Plumping Mascara ($3 at Target). Finally, the pièce de résistance was the red lip. Deenihan used Moisturizing Lipstick in Red Carpet ($4 at Ulta).

For her hosting duties, Deenihan switched up Hale’s lip to a brighter, more pink look. She used Sheer Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pink Peony ($6 at E.L.F.), which she says is ” transfer-proof and lasts all night.” It looks like it’s time for a Target run.

You’ve Def Seen the ‘Katy Keene’ Cast Before (& No, We’re Not Just Talking About Lucy Hale)

$

It’s hard to picture life before Riverdale. Since the show premiered in 2017, stars like Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and KJ Apa have blown up to become household names. So what will happen to the Katy Keene cast? ICYMI, Katy Keene, based on the Archie Comics of the same name, premieres on the CW Thursday, February 6. It’s the second spinoff to come after Riverdale following Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

The show, which stars Pretty Little Liars alum and teen mystery legend Lucy Hale, is about an aspiring fashion designer named Katy Keene who moves to New York City chase her dreams. While there, she meets several other go-getters who are also in the Big Apple for their careers. Among them is a Riverdale character (more on that later.) But Hale isn’t the only Katy Keene cast member who seems familiar. Many on the cast have recognizable careers that are sure to blow up even more after the spinoff’s premiere. (Call it the Riverdale effect.) We dove into the IMDB pages and resumes of the Katy Keene cast to find out what their deals were before they became CW idols. Find out those answers ahead.

Katy Keene premieres on Thursday, February 6, on the CW at 8 p.m. E.T./7 p.m. CT.

Lucy Hale as Katy Keene

Katy Keene

Image: The CW.

We know who Lucy Hale is: She played Aria Montgomery on Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars. Then, she starred in her first post-PLL show, 2018’s Life Sentence on The CW. Life Sentence was cancelled after one season, but it was enough for the bigwigs at The CW to cast Hale as the lead in Katy Keene: Ms. Katy Keene herself. In the show, Hale plays an aspiring fashion designer who is trying to make in New York City. Anyone who’s read the Archie Comics knows that Katy Keene reaches her dreams and becomes that designer she wanted, but it wasn’t an easy road to get there.

Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy

Katy Keene

Image: The CW.

If the name “Josie McCoy” sounds familiar, that’s because it is. Josie starred in three seasons of Riverdale as the lead singer of Josie and the Pussycats and Archie Andrews’ short-lived romance. Josie left at the end of season 3 to pursue a music career, and lo and behold, she’s doing just that in Katy Keene. The spinoff is set five years ahead of Riverdale, so Josie is no longer a teenager but an adult who’s trying to make it in the music industry without her pussycats. Murray, who plays Josie, has been in the Netflix movie Deidra & Laney Rob a Train and the ABC sitcom Alexa, Inc. since Riverdale. Katy Keene has also been advertised as a musical, so expect lots of music from Murray and Josie.

Jonny Beauchamp as Jorge / Ginger Lopez

Katy Keene

Image: The CW.

Beauchamp stars as Jorge, a Broadway actor who also performs in drag under the name Ginger Lopez. Katy Keene sees Jorge put his Broadway career on hold to try to make it as a successful drag performer. Beauchamp, who played gender-fluid character Ray/Ramona Garcia in 2015’s Stonewall, told NewNowNext that he’s glad the role of Jorge/Ginger didn’t go to a heterosexual man. “It blows your mind, and I think we need more of it: a queer person playing a queer person. The best queer stuff goes to heterosexual men,” he said. “It’s high time we start allowing queer people to interpret and display and actually be the vessel. Since we’ve walked in the shoes, we can bring something that a heterosexual male maybe cannot. So I just feel really lucky that I’ve been picked to do that.”

Julia Chan as Pepper Smith

Katy Keene

Image: The CW.

Deadline described Pepper Smith as an “It” girl, who’s “funny, magnetic” and the “life of the party.” The magazine also calls the character the “epicenter of all things trendy,” who dreams of running her own fashion empire. However, there is mystery around Pepper’s life: No one knows how she has her money or if she really even has any. (Anna Delvey has entered the chat.) We’re not sure what will happen to Pepper in Katy Keene, but based on her fashion interests, it’s assumed that she and Katy will be either allies or competitors. Julia Chan, a British actor who grew up between Hong Kong and the U.K., plays Pepper. She’s also voiced Pickles Aplenty in BoJack Horseman and starred in show’s like Schitt’s Creek, Saving Hope and Gotham.

Camille Hyde as Alexandra Cabot

Katy Keene

Image: The CW.

Alexandra Cabot is a powerful New York socialite who’s trying to work her way up in her father’s company. She’s also the sister of Alexander Cabot. (More on him later.) As for Camille Hyde, who plays Alexandra, the Washington D.C.-raised actress has starred as young Jessica Pearson in Suits and acted in shows like Heathers and The Good Doctor.

Lucien Laviscount as Alexander Cabot

Katy Keene

Image: The CW.

Laviscount stars as Alexandra’s brother, Alexander Cabot. Alexander is the CEO of his father’s company who has real dreams of reviving a dead record company. Laviscount, a British actor, may be familiar to Big Brother fans. He starred in the U.K. version of Celebrity Big Brother in 2011, and played a series regular character in season 1 of Scream Queens. He was also set to play the lead in the Supernatural spinoff, Supernatural: Bloodlines before the show was nixed by The CW. Still, Laviscount must’ve made an impression on the network as he was cast a major character in Katy Keene.

Zane Holtz as K.O. Kelly

Katy Keene

Image: The CW.

K.O. Kelly is a boxer and Katy’s longtime boyfriend, who has dreams of fighting in a welterweight championship in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. For money, he works as a personal trainer and a bouncer. Holtz, a model and actor from Canada, was a lead in Netflix’s From Dusk till Dawn: The Series. He was also male model on America’s Next Top Model (fun fact) and has starred in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, Cold Case and NCIS. (So much probs much diff than Katy Keene.)

Katherine LaNasa as Gloria Grandbilt

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

Katherine LaNasa stars as Gloria Grandbilt, whose name seems eerily similar to fashion designer and socialite Gloria Vanderbilt. The character is described as a personal shopper at the luxury department store Lacy’s (a.k.a. Macy’s?), which caters to the rich and famous. LaNasa has had a lengthy sitcom career in shows like Three Sisters and Two and a Half Men. She’s also starred in the legal drama Judging Amy, as well as the HBO show Big Love.

23 Celebs Wearing Face Masks Because They Really Are Just Like Us

We’re more than three months into a global pandemic and for most of the United States, we’ll have to keep up social distancing and mask-wearing for a bit (a lot?) longer. It’s just a part of our lives now. And this goes for celebs, too. Celebrities also wear face masks while out and about picking up food or visiting friends. Sure, you’re probably seeing some stars socialize sans masks but we wish they wouldn’t, TBH. It’s great that (most) celebs are taking mask-wearing seriously and showing their millions of fans that it’s both easy and essential.

Although we’re wearing masks to protect each other from the spread of COVID-19, which is extremely serious, it’s okay to have some fun with your mask. It’s something you have to put on your face every time you go out so there’s nothing wrong with picking up a cute print or a one with a fun slogan. It’s also a great way to support a charity, Black-owned brand or an indie designer who is donating masks to those in need.

Check out some of our favorite celebrities in their masks, both simple styles and bold prints. Let it inspire you to grab a new one since it doesn’t look like we’ll be retiring them anytime soon.

Lucy Hale Dyed Her Hair Copper and Looks Red Hot

$

We’ve seen Lucy Hale go through a few hair changes in recent years. She generally goes from blonde to brunette and blonde again. We’ve never seen her with copper hair but Hale’s new red hair is just that—and it’s stunning. Her hairstylist Kristin Ess posted a little video of her client playing with her new hair with the caption: “@lucyhale has had every hair color under the sun EXCEPT red. My lil colorist heart is full and now we officially know this chick looks good with any hair color.” Seriously though, how does she do that? Every change is done seamlessly and flawlessly.

It seems like Hale is gearing up for a new project, which is the reason for the color change. Ess shared the details of how she created this color on the actress for any hairstylists who want to recreate the look. (It all involves two rounds of highlights, basically and a really great toner.) Ess makes one thing clear: permanent dye and lifting your hair at all should be done in the salon. This wasn’t done with Ess’s Signature Hair Gloss at Target (sorry!) but she did say Hale could use the Copper Penny shade to upkeep this color. Red fades fast.

Hale posted the video onto her own grid too (it’s that cute) and hilariously, celebrity look-a-like Sarah Hyland commented: “LEGIT THOUGHT THIS WAS ME.” We have to admit, they look even more alike now that Hyland also has auburn hair right now. Either way, they both look great.

Lucy Hale Went Golden Blonde For Summer & I’m Obsessed

There’s something about the warmer weather that makes a lot of people want to go lighter with their hair, whether it’s adding caramel highlights to dark brown hair or going totally platinum. But when it comes to Lucy Hale’s new golden blonde hair, we have a funny feeling it’s for a role. The actress has gone back and forth between brown and blonde hair for years, mixing in red here and there. Though this is the lightest we’ve seen from her in a long time. And it’s gorgeous.

Hale posted her new color from London, where we assume she’s working. She could be filming her new show, Ragdoll, a six-part thriller following the case of the Ragdoll Killer who killed people and sewed their bodies into the shape of a doll. Ew. (But yes, I will watch.) It’s from the Killing Eve producers so you know it’s going to be good. It’s based on a novel by Daniel Cole.

Hale is playing DC Lake Edmunds, a new recruit to the London Met on the case. Either she needed to be blonde for the role or she’s done filming and wanted to switch it up.

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

Hale thanked colorist John Clark for the pretty golden blonde hue, as well as Jonny Eagland for that perfect bob. Both are from Nicola Clarke at John Frieda salon in London. Hale’s famous friends are loving the color. “Love the face color cut everything!” wrote hairstylist Scotty Cunha. “Wait oh my gosh LUCY YESSS,” said actress Bailee Madison, who looks like Hale’s little sister when they’re both brunettes. “Whoa! Lucy Monroe,” added actor Shiloh Fernandez.

We’re sure Hale is having a blast with this gorgeous gold color that brightens her makeup-free skin. But she is such a classic brunette, we’re sure she’ll be heading back that way soon.

Lucy Hale Just Reacted to Colton Underwood Coming Out as Gay Months After Their Rumored Romance

$

Here for it. Lucy Hale’s reaction to Colton Underwood coming out as gay was nothing short of supportive. The A Nice Girl Like You star’s response comes less than a year after her rumored summer romance with the former Bachelor lead.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Thursday, April 15, the actress, 31, wrote, “I’m really really happy for you @coltonunderwood – u deserve to be seen, heard, and accepted for exactly who you are ✨ brave, bold moves and I’m here for it.” Hale attached a post by InStyle Magazine’s Instagram account, which shared a photo of Underwood, 29, during his time on Season 23 of The Bachelor.

The reality star was linked to the Pretty Little Liars alum in July 2020, after TMZ obtained photos of the pair out and about on hikes in Los Angeles. “They’ve hung out a few times. They are very casually dating—it’s been so complicated to date (in general) during the pandemic,” a source confirmed to People at the time, noting that the rumored pair connected over DMs on social media. While the duo never directly commented on the speculation over their relationship, both Hale and Underwood seemingly put the rumors to rest by separately referring to themselves as “single” in a pair of interviews later that summer.

“I feel more single than ever, but it’s fine,” Hale told Entertainment Tonight in July 2020. Underwood, meanwhile, revealed he was “happily single” during a panel with Chat4Good in August 2020, as per Us Weekly. “My next relationship I’m already in and that’s with myself,” he said at the time. “I’ve decided that I want to spend my energy and focus on all my attention on myself, which I’m actually weirdly loving.”

It looks like Underwood put that time focusing on himself to good use, as he revealed he is the “happiest and healthiest” he’s ever been after he decided to go public with his sexuality in April 2021. The former Bachelor star came out as gay during an interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts, telling the host on Wednesday, April 14, “This year’s been a lot for a lot of people and it’s probably made a lot of people look at themselves in the year and figure out who they are. I’ve ran from myself for a long time, I’ve hated myself for a long time. I’m gay.”

He went on to explain, “I came to terms with that earlier this year, and the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know. … I’m the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. That means the world to me.”

The Bachelor is available to stream on Hulu.

We were both in our 20s then (I’m a little older than her) and cared a little more about what other people think. Now, both in our 30s, we’re focusing on feeling confident in our skin — healthy-looking skin. When I sat down with Hale in Los Angeles last week, she made it clear that’s one thing she’s focusing on. Because it’s not about hiding your “flaws” but embracing your unique skin.

The Almay ambassador is also getting savvier when it comes to skincare. “When I was younger, I just thought I could use anything and do anything but I have combination skin, I have breakout-prone skin,” she tells STYLECASTER. That means, she avoids pore-clogging heavy creams and oils. She partnered with Almay years ago because she says, the fragrance-free, hypoallergenic products just work well for her, especially the Clear Complexion line, which recently got an update.

“If you have a zit, it’s not going to clog your pores even more,” she says.

It’s important to Hale that she use skin-friendly makeup because she likes a full glam at times, as well as experimenting with her look. “I love taking risks and trying something new,” she says. “I never want to do the same thing. I guess in a sense as I’ve grown, my confidence has grown so therefore I’m like, okay, yeah, let’s try no mascara and a bold lip or let’s try blue shadow or, you know, just things that I wouldn’t have had the confidence to wear when I was younger.”

When it comes to everyday makeup, she keeps things simple. She first applies concealer (before foundation!) and then mixes two shades of Almay Clear Complexion Foundation ($19.50 at Amazon).

“I apply it always damp a sponge and press it in because I feel like you still get coverage but it’s not cakey and it’s good for everyday wear,” she says. Then comes mascara. Hale likes Almay Length & Lift Mascara ($6.99 at Amazon), especially because of the brush. “I’m so picky about makeup brushes but this one is perfect,” she says. “Bristle mascara is the best and this one is conditioning. You can, like, get in there to all the lashes.”

For her lips, Hale loves the soft matte formula of Almay Lip Vibes ($6.98 at Amazon) with its 20+ shade options. “Treat Yourself is my favorite,” she says. “It’s this beautiful red, like classic old Hollywood red.”

Hale loves to experience but there are some things she keeps herself from trying. For example, she wanted to give bleached brows a try but decided it might be a bit too trendy. “My alter ego is like, ‘Luc, you’ve been blessed with thick brows, don’t mess with them,” she says. The French girl bob is also on her radar. “It’s just the commitment of bangs,” she says. “I hate anything in my face. And that is pretty much 24/7. I’m nearing that though. I feel like if I did anything that might be my next.” We’re waiting.

Lucy Hale Dyed Her Hair Golden-Blonde, and It’ll Be Your New Spring Color

Lucy Hale pulled a Selena Gomez and went blonde. Two months after feeling inspired by Gomez’s nine-hour, “Nirvana”-blonde hair color, the 28-year-old actress made the jump and became a golden-blonde bombshell. Needless to say, she looks good. “I saw Selena [go blonde] and she looked so good. I was like ‘Yes!’ That was good inspiration,” Hale told People in January.

The “Pretty Little Liars” star debuted her new look on Thursday with a seductive, smizing Instagram selfie that even Tyra Banks would approve of. The picture featured Hale staring into the camera’s soul with her hazel-green eyes, while showing off her significantly lighter hair color.

From the looks of it, Hale’s hair color—which was done by celebrity hairstylist Kristin Ess (who has also worked on the heads of stars like Lauren Conrad and Jenna Dewan Tatum)—starts dark at the actress’s roots and gradually transitions to a lighter, more sun-kissed color. “Get to spend the day with my blonde angel and her cute updo,” Ess captioned a selfie of Hale’s just-dyed hair.

But don’t fall too much in love with Hale’s hair color yet. According to Ess, the color isn’t complete. In her Instagram comments, a fan asked Ess how she prevented Hale’s hair from turning red, considering the actress is a natural brunette. In her response, Ess was completely honest, telling the fan that she’s going extremely slow with dyeing Hale’s hair and that she’s still in the process of add more warmth to the color. (Makes sense considering Hale dyed her hair red in March, perhaps a a transition color)

“We’re going very slow. It takes a lot of time. Believe me, we’re still working through warmth,” Ess wrote back to a fan.

Lucy Hale has experimented with many beauty looks. Whether she’s dyeing her hair from red to blonde or face-palming over her crazy-thin eyebrows from the mid ’00s, the 28-year-old actress is always open and honest about the many beauty looks she test-drives—regardless if they’re hits or misses. Her latest beauty adventure? The world of self-tanning.

On Monday, the “Pretty Little Liars” star shared an Instagram photo of her self-bronzed body. The photo featured Hale smizing at the camera while rocking sun-kissed skin that looked a couple—OK, a few—shades darker than what she normally is. Though Hale’s Instagram was flooded with comments on how “stunning” she looked, the “Life Sentence” star suggested that the tan was a little too dark for her liking. In her caption, Hale vowed that she will “never” be that tan again—whether through natural or artificial causes.

“I will never be this (fake) tan again in my life 🌞,” Hale said.

Considering how pale Hale’s skin is naturally (see the Instagram below), it makes sense that her foray into self-tanning would be a one-day adventure. It’s a lot of upkeep to maintain an all-body bronze. Either way, we’re happy that Hale shared her self-tan miss with us, and we can’t wait to see what beauty look she tests out next.

Fans Think That Lucy Hale Looks Like Khloé Kardashian’s Twin in This Photo

Lucy Hale is no stranger to celebrity look-alikes. In her two-ish decades in show business, she has been mistaken for Rachel Bilson, Maisie Williams, Kylie Jenner, Sarah Hyland, and Selena Gomez—whom she is guilty of pretending to be to not disappoint fans. But her latest doppelgänger is someone that even the most eagle-eyed fans never expected: Khloé Kardashian.

On Saturday, the 28-year-old actress sparked Kardashian look-alike rumors when she posted a very Khloé-like Instagram selfie. The picture, taken ahead of Hale’s appearance at New York Beauty Con, featured her in a skin-tight red dress with her brown-ish blonde lob slightly wavy and parted down the middle.

Due to her hairstyle and Kardashian-like makeup, fans immediately began flooding her comments with comparison to Khloé. Many fans pointed out that Hale looked like Khloé in her picture, while others tagged the youngest Kardashian sister so she could see the resemblance. A few comments included:

“Omg you look like KhloeK”

“Looking like @khloekardashian ❤❤OMG”

“You look like @khloekardashian in this pic.”

“You’re starting to look like Khloe Kardashian 😆

Though we can admit that Hale does bear a Khloé-like resemblance in that picture, the actress’s hairstylist and makeup artist, Kelsey Deenihan, later shared a profile picture of Hale from the same event where most of her Kardashian-like traits disappeared. We guess that shows that, from the right angles, you can look like anyone—even the Kardashians. We’ll stick to the Selena Gomez and Sarah Hyland references, but Hale’s time as a Kardashian was fun.

Lucy Hale is living her best life. Since ending a long and grueling press tour for two movies, “Dude” and “Truth or Dare,” and one TV show, “Life Sentence,” the 28-year-old actress has been enjoying much-needed vacations in Arizona and Cambodia. And because no trip is complete without a spontaneous decided, Hale chose to commemorate her time in Cambodia with a permanent tattoo of an adorable elephant.

The elephant-tattoo saga began on Wednesday when the “Pretty Little Liars” actress announced on her Instagram that she and her friends would all receive tattoos. In a clip with her “Life Sentence” costar, Elliot Knight, Hale asked Knight what they were about to do. Here’s how the conversation went.

“Elliot, what are we about to do?”

“We about to get some tattoos!”

“Sorry, mom.”

And Hale kept her promise. Later stories showed Hale in a tattoo parlor with an artist inking a tiny, coin-sized elephant on the upper part of her forearm, near where her arm bends. Hale’s Instagram story also featured a video of her asking the artist to make the elephant’s trunk a teensy bit longer. “Tattooooo time,” she captioned the video.

Later Instagram stories show that Hale wasn’t the only one who received an elephant tattoo that day. Several of her friends also inked the tiny animal on their bodies. Though one friend tatted an elephant in the identical spot as Hale, another inked it on her neck, while others chose their ankles or thighs.

Judging from Hale’s Instagram story, it seems like every tourist in Cambodia is inking tiny elephants on their bodies, and it’s making us itch for one too. Cute tat, Lucy!

Lucy Hale Dyed Her Hair Chocolate Brown, and It’s Giving Us Major ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Vibes

Lucy Hale is an undeniable hair chameleon. But after months as a redhead and a blonde, she’s finally returning to her chocolate brown roots—and boy, will “Pretty Little Liars” fans be happy with her new color. The 29-year-old actress, who has been sporting dirty blonde hair since March, recently dyed it dark chocolate brown, and her color is giving us major Aria Montgomery vibes.

The “Life Sentence” star debuted her new color on Tuesday with an Instagram story of her showing off her much-darker locks. In a series of pictures and videos, Hale can be seen with a head of all-brown hair. Unlike her previous hair colors, which used highlights and lowlights to create pretty ombré effects, Hale left her hair all one color: dark brown.

The actress, who has been sporting a shoulder-length lob for the past few months, also seemed to have trimmed her hair into neat and petite chin-length bob. (Though in one video she appeared to be wearing extensions for upcoming project.) Check out the striking before-and-afters below.

Though Hale didn’t reveal who the hairstylist behind her new cut and color was, we can speculate that it was her longtime hairstylist Kristin Ess, who was responsible for Hale’s previous drool-worthy red and blonde ‘dos and has also worked with stars such as Lauren Conrad and Lili Reinhart.

No matter what color she’s rocking, Hale looks stunning. Guess that’s the result of true hair chameleon.

Lucy Hale’s Self-Care Routine Includes Facials, True Crime TV and Plenty of Ranch Dressing

The most refreshing thing about today’s batch of twentysomething famous folks is that a rather large amount of them aren’t afraid to simply speak up. Whether it’s concerning the pressures that come with navigating the world of social media, getting real about body image, or highlighting social issues that concern us all, they do a pretty good job of reminding us that, in the end, we’re all dealing with the same stuff every day and having fame doesn’t necessarily make it any easier. Lucy Hale certainly falls into this category.

Since saying goodbye to Pretty Little Liars, the Degree spokeswoman has continued to use her platform to talk about the kind of things we should all be paying more attention to, including self-care. Ahead, in her own words, the 29-year-old shares all of the things she depends on to keep herself sane amidst a busy schedule.

Self-Care on the Move

[Self-care] can be so many different things. Obviously, physically taking care of yourself, but I think mentally and emotionally is equally as important. My mom has always taught me to be the best version of myself, so she instilled that in me. But you also learn new things about yourself as you get older. That just comes with age and experience. At 29 years old, I’ve figured out what works for me and what doesn’t. For me, my lifestyle is so on the go and it’s constantly changing, so for me, it’s about the tiny moments during the day that I sort of have to pause and breathe. Whether that be working out or meditating or eating my favorite foods; it’s the tiny things that make me happy. When you take care of yourself, you can be better for everyone else.

It’s about the tiny moments during the day that I sort of have to pause and breathe.

Comfort Food

I’m such a big foodie. I love and appreciate food. My favorite restaurant in L.A. is called Pace. I’m also a very big lover of ranch dressing. I’m from the South, and we put it on everything. My favorite thing in the world is french fries dipped in ranch dressing.

Beauty Splurges

My favorite things revolve around skin care. I definitely splurge on facials and massages. I have a facialist; her name is Molly Lucio. I see her almost every week just to maintain. I kind of let her do her own thing, from lasers to peels and LED light to muscle tightening. When I’m just chillin’ at home, I am a huge face mask lover. I’ll pop on a couple and watch TV. That’s my dream day. SkinCeuticals has this detox clay mask that’s really amazing. They also have a B5 mask for hydrating.

Fitting in Fitness

I am a huge fan of exercise. I genuinely enjoy it. Not just because of the physical aspects, but it’s my therapy in a way, so I never skip out on it. I typically work out in the morning, and when I have a day off, that’s definitely on top of my list. I take classes like SoulCycle. I also have two personal trainers, depending on their schedules. They’re incredible with high-intensity circuit training. It’s about mixing things up, keeping me on my toes.

Binge Obsessions

I love Handmaid’s Tale. Anything true-crime related. I just finished Evil Genius on Netflix, and that was pretty incredible. I highly recommend it.

Lucy Hale & Sarah Hyland Called Out a Site Who Mistook Them for One Another

Like dozens of other teen-favorite stars, Lucy Hale spent her Sunday at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards where she walked the red carpet in a cool jeweled dress and green eye makeup. Sarah Hyland, on the other hand, was miles away at home. Yet somehow she was also at the Teen Choice Awards—at least, according to one very confused fashion site.

On Monday, Fashion Vixen, a fashion-themed Instagram with almost 90,000 followers, shared their favorite looks from the Teen Choice Awards. One of the looks included Hale’s. However, instead of tagging the Pretty Little Liars star, the Instagram mistook her for Hyland and tagged the Modern Family actor instead. This wouldn’t be the first time that Hyland and Hale were mistaken for each other. “There’s a group of girls that all kind of look similar,” Hale told Insider in 2018. “I get Sarah Hyland or Rachel Bilson or Maisie Williams. There’s a crop of us that all have a similar vibe.”

But back to Fashion Vixen. After the Instagram went live (with the wrong tag), the mistake was caught by Hyland who screen-shotted the the error, posted it on her Instagram story tagged Hale. “Hey @lucyhale. I’m pretty sure this is you. Not me,” Hyland wrote. Hale responded with her own screenshot, poking fun at how many times the two have been mistaken for one another. “It keeps getting better,” she wrote, with three laughing-face emojis.

Lucy Hale Dyed Her Hair Bronde in Her 4th Hair Change This Year

There are hair chameleons, and then there’s Lucy Hale. In the past year, the 29-year-old actor has gone from red to golden blonde to chocolate brown, and it doesn’t look like she’s slowing down any time soon. For her fourth hair swap in 2018, Hale dyed her hair bronde (brown-blonde for the unaware), but don’t get too attached. She’s planning on changing it again soon.

The Pretty Little Liars alum showed off her new hair color on Friday with a selfie on her Instagram story. The picture featured Hale in a salon chair as her longtime hairstylist Kristin Ess made some finishing touches for her now-bronde hair, which was styled in effortless waves, showing off the lighter brown color near her roots and almost-blonde tips. “Phase 1 @kristiness,” Hale captioned the picture.

Ess—who’s responsible for many of Hale’s hair changes, as well as the ‘dos of stars, such as Jenna Dewan and Lauren Conrad—also took to her Instagram to show off the Life Sentence star’s hair.  In an Instagram, Ess revealed that Hale’s bronde was an interim color as she transitions from a dark brunette to a full-on blonde. Ess also gave a tip to those with dark hair who want to go lighter: patience.

“Chameleon AF. The life of an actor can be really hard on the hair. Thank goodness she’s got the face of an angel and the patience of a saint. When going from dark brown to blonde, trust your colorist to do it at the right pace to keep your hair from snapping off. 🖤 next stop: 💇🏼‍♀️” Ess wrote in her caption.
